Dr. Ray Elder was licensed to the ministry at Riverside Baptist Church in December 1982 and ordained to the ministry at Riverside Baptist in November of 1989. He received his Associate of Arts from North Greenville College in 1986, Bachelor of General Studies from Furman University in 1989, Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1995, and his Doctor of Ministry from Covington Theological Seminary in 2000. Pastor Ray is a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor and a Member of the Evangelist Network of South Carolina Baptist Convention.
Pastor Ray and his wife, Norma, have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. He has been the pastor at Euhaw Baptist Church since August 1, 2004.
